Well, school's just ending now for most students, and the weather's getting warm! Mark and Holly, along with our quartet mates, Tommy and Michael, have been touring Saskatchewan, performing concerts for students and audiences!
Next on the agenda is working on our repertoire for the World Saxophone Congress in Strasbourg, France. We've been fortunate enough to have two applications accepted to play for hundreds of saxophonists and saxophone enthusiasts from around the world! We're also going to be rehearsing and performing with a saxophone ensemble made up of former students of our teacher from Paris.
We're excited to go back to France, play with old friends and new friends, eat baguettes and cheese, and to completely geek out on saxophone!
To all of our students from this past year, have a great summer, and expect an email from us in August, when we start to get the ball rolling for the next year of the Calgary Saxophone Studio!
